Redemption Road Coffee

Redemption Road Coffee was started with a vision to fund a not-for-profit Aaron and Jessica Harsch founded to help those struggling with barriers to success such as houselessness and addiction. In 2016, the company was officially launched, and later that year, the vision expanded to the good that the company could do around the world.

Co-owner Jessica Harsch says of the journey, “Now, instead of just having a local impact, the coffee company has expanded and allows us to have an international impact. Every one of our coffees at their farm origin has a cause that they support. We also fund three different big causes every year with our coffee.” Currently, these causes include building a well in India, fighting sex trafficking in Athens, Greece, and supporting an organization in Malawi that helps bring education and food sustainability to kids.

Along with supporting a good cause, coffee from Redemption Road is also chosen with quality in mind. Co-owner Aaron Harsch said of this choice, “I loved how different coffee could be. How unique each coffee was from around the world and even different farms in the same country. I wanted to be able to tell the stories of these farms and these people. They had put so much work into their product I wanted to be able to honor them for that, not blend it into a bunch of other beans.”

Locals can take advantage of Redemption Road being in their community with free local delivery within 15 miles of Mead, and those outside of Colorado are offered two bags or two pod boxes shipped free across the US.

With a world-wide reach, locating in Mead made sense to the Harsch’s, “The central location of being able to reach northern Colorado and southern Colorado in such a beautiful hub to quickly be able to get where you're going. So many businesses have to travel or even running errands, and you can do that efficiently and quickly with having the I-25 corridor right behind us.”
