Moonstone Glow

Krystyn Stone, owner of MoonStone Glow in Mead, has been working in the massage industry for 23 years and skincare for 8. In 2021, she opened her wellness clinic in Mead and has found a community that supports local, and a great place for her family and kids to call home. According to Krystyn, “We moved to Mead in 2017, and I just grew to love the community itself. I find the people here in Mead to be very friendly, open, and willing to support local. There's a lot of wanting to stay local and support local companies within.”

“There's a lot of young families in town, but there's an older community too, that also come out and enjoy the music, and the park, and the movies. It's neat to see everyone gather, and to have that place, too, where your kids get to run free and play with other kids.” She comments that on any given day, you can find people out and about, and simply put, kids being kids, “There's always people out playing in the yard. On our street, in the summer, it's blocked off, and kids are playing street hockey, and riding their bikes.” Krystyn likens the community to one you might find in a Hallmark movie.

While finding a home in Mead, Krystyn also believes in providing her clients with an essential service, “I think self-care is important, and making people feel good in their body and mind is going to put that out and make the world a little bit better. Everyone should have the ability to feel good.” She continues, “Self-care is important, and a lot of us don't do it for ourselves. So I feel that I've always enjoyed being able to help someone get relaxed, get relief from any kind of pain that they might have within their body, or help with any kind of skin condition that they might be dealing with. Just so they can feel better on the inside and the outside.”

To do this, Moonstone Glow offers numerous services, including therapeutic massage with various modalities like lymphatic massage, energy work, cupping, deep tissue massage, skincare, and other services such as lash extensions and brow tints. 

In short, when asked about Mead, Krystyn remarked, “I think it's a great community that's willing to support local, and our community keeps growing, and it will continue to grow. There's always going to be people that are willing to support new businesses.”
