Alongside this, the company also provides marketing services tailored to the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Public involvement, according to McPherson, plays a vital role in transportation projects. “It involves the people that are using this area, whether driving or other means of mobility, like walking or cycling.” By ensuring community voices are heard, Chickenango strengthens trust between project leaders and residents.
Headquartered in Mead, the company benefits from the town’s strategic location. “It’s equally 35 miles from Denver and 35 miles from Fort Collins, right off of I-25 so I think Mead is ideally positioned.” McPherson also points to Mead’s growing energy: “There’s a lot of opportunity, I think, for business owners that are coming to Mead. There’s a lot of growth in Mead.”
For McPherson, entrepreneurship is as much about community as it is about business. “I love being a part of the business community. I love being a business owner. I love people who jump off the edge and just build something. It’s very exciting. I would love to support anyone and everyone that I can in Mead.”
