QuikTrip holds grand opening celebration in Mead, Colorado

On January 24, 2024, residents, Town of Mead elected officials, and QuikTrip representatives celebrated the opening of the company’s newest location with a ribbon cutting at 3571 Highland Drive, located off Highway 66 and west of Interstate 25. The new location features a gas station and convenience store, marking the 10th QuikTrip location in Colorado.

Attendees were able to walk through the new location and see the full-service kitchen with made-to-order snack items as well as tea, coffee, pizza by the slice, and more. The new location is currently accepting applications and plans to hire around 24 employees.

Town of Mead Mayor Colleen Whitlow said of the opening, “We are excited to celebrate with QuikTrip on the opening of this new location. With the proximity to the Highway, we think it’s the perfect spot for this business, and we are excited to see even more development in this area. The residents of Mead are eagerly welcoming QuikTrip to our community.”

QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson said of the new location in a recent article from 9News, “The QuikTrip team is working hard to ensure our Mead customers enjoy best-in-class service and amenities from day one, and we look forward to continuing our reputation as a good neighbor in the Mead community.”
